Sarah Palin has been in the news lately. What a surprise, right? I know she is quitting as Governor. (And, yes, I consider it quitting, no matter what her reasons, even if they are great reasons.) The thing is, I still like her and would vote for her, for President, in a heartbeat.
You want to know one of the reasons? It has nothing to do with her positions on matters, most of which I agree with anyway.
Nope. One reason why I really like her is that the liberals and "country club" republicans HATE her. They hate her with a passion that is amazing to watch. Even after her ticket lost, the liberals and country-clubbers never let up. They are still after her and her entire family as if the election was still going on.
They must really be afraid of her for some reason. They makes me like her a lot more. You see, I really dislike what these liberals and country-clubbers stand for. Now an "outsider" is threatening them and their ivory towers. I hope Sarah Palin tumbles those ivory towers to the ground.
I like Sarah Palin too. I can't decide if she is attacked because people are thrown off and afraid of her, or because throughout history, we have to attack attractive women who don't feel the need to hide themselves. As a women, it is cruel and in no way helps our strive for equality by ripping on other women. It seems that we have to associate attractiveness with stupidity, as that is just another way to keep women down.
I own the site "palinisdumb.com" so that I don't have to see another hateful and meaningless sight pop up on my search engine when I want to read up on Palin. I plan to put reasons why she is NOT dumb on there soon, so check it out (later not now) : )

Great comment. I like how you own the "palinisdumb" website. Very smart idea.
I think she is being attacked from two fronts. One is from collectivists who really hate her political philosophy. The second is from women who can't stand to see someone who can have a loving family AND be successful AND have a brain of her own. (The two groups overlap quite a bit.) I guess there is a third group that just hates her because the media says that they should.
Anyway, I hope she throws her hat in the ring in 2012. I would vote for her in a heartbeat.
