I really thought it was a joke at first. You have to be kidding me! But here it is:
"President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," the Norwegian Nobel Committee said, citing his outreach to the Muslim world and attempts to curb nuclear proliferation."
Obama has been in office for, what, 9 months? What the hell has he done to promote peace? He has coddled tyrants, dictators and radical muslims. He weakness has made this world a much more dangerous place. He has devastated our economy, nationalized our private companies, driven up our debt and pissed off all our soon-to-be-ex allies.
By all means give him the Peace Prize! But check this out - "Obama took office less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline." Do you think the fix was in from the beginning? I do. Now the left will dance around about how Obama won the Peace Prize. What a joke!
I guess that puts Obama in the worthy company of Jimmy Carter and Al Gore.
