You might think I would be pleased by this, and I guess I am a little bit. If it means democrats are in trouble I am pleased. But the over-riding feeling is that at least 52% of the voters, the ones voting for Obama, are idiots. EVERYTHING that Obama and the democrats are doing now was completely obvious to anyone paying the least amount of attention prior to the election. They told everyone what they intended to do. And now they are doing it. Now some of those voters are upset. Oh well.
I think the real reason the democrats are down in the polls is just due to the economy. Pure and simple. The voters who voted for Obama are still idiots, but now they are poorer idiots. They don't really care that Obama and the democrats are in the process of killing America with socialist policies. They just want their "bread and circuses" back.
The election in 2010 will tell the tale. We'll see.
