I am still unsure if this country can be saved from the collectivists currently in control. The incredible methods Pelosi and the democrats are using to possibly ram through health-care are simply unbelievable. Sure, there are some protests and LOTS of phone calls to D.C. from people who still prefer freedom over tyranny, but I wonder if the majority of the citizens in the USA are looking forward to more government control.
Almost half of our citizens don't pay taxes; a growing number of citizens work directly for the government; a huge number of citizens are dependent on government contracts for their private companies; millions are on food stamps and other government assistance......................you get the point!
In just under 8 months we will have an election. From the results of that election we will know which direction the PEOPLE want to take the country. There can be no excuse that they do not know what is at stake in the choice between collectivists and small-government politicians. If they choose big government, plan accordingly. (Hint - that will be the time for Going Galt.)
