Allen West Is Someone To Watch

I have read some stuff about Allen West.  He is a retired soldier running for Congress in Florida.  I took a quick look at his website and agree with him about 85%.  Good enough for me.

But what I really love about this guy is his common sense view of our fight against Islam.

Iran May be Working On A Nuke? What A Shocka!!!

The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) aka Clueless Dingbats, thinks maybe, just maybe, Iran is working towards a nuclear bomb. 

U.N. Watchdog Concerned Iran Is Working on Nuclear Weapon

"The U.N. nuclear agency on Thursday said it was worried Iran may currently be working on making a nuclear warhead, suggesting for the first time that Tehran had either resumed such work or never stopped at the time U.S. intelligence thought it did."

OMG!!!  What tipped them off? 

Could it have been the continuous proclamations of the little Iranian nutjob that they were developing nuclear capability, far beyond what is necessary for just nuclear power.?  The constant promise that Isreal will disappear in a fireball?  The continual construction of widespread, hardened and hidden nuclear facilities?The nutjobs recent statement that Iran is a nuclear power?  What could possibly have tipped them off?

Don't wait for any action from the western paper tiger countries, though.  Russia and China will block any real attempt to stop Iran from getting the bomb.

One day there will be a mushroom cloud somewhere courtesy of Iran.  (And quite a bit of the world's oil supply might be unobtainable for a while.)

This is one of the many reasons I buy and put away a little bit extra every time I go to the store. 

The Insanity Of PC Rears Its Ugly Head Again

Saw this statement by the ACLU in a CNN Travel article concerning how it feels about the new requirement of the TSA to swab passengers' hands during your pre-flight interrogation sequence.

"The American Civil Liberties Union has "always supported explosive detection as a good form of security that doesn't really invade privacy," said Jay Stanley, an attorney and privacy expert with the organization.

Stanley said the ACLU is chiefly concerned that the TSA does not discriminate when selecting people for enhanced screening -- something the agency said it does not do -- and that it treat people with dignity."

"We would not want to see it implemented in a discriminatory fashion, for example, in a disproportionate way against Muslims and Arabs..."

WHY THE HELL NOT!!!!  Damn it!  Who are the terrorists who have cost us all these billions in security measures and loss of our freedom over the past few decades?  100% MUSLIMS!  Mostly ARAB MUSLIMS!  In a world that held to reality rather than feel-good fiction every single muslim in the world would be stripped-searched, x-rayed and scanned for explosives before being allowed on a flight.  Even then I wouldn't trust them.  And this would continue until they started acting like human beings not intent on killing all us infidels.

Instead we have the ACLU and the preachers of Political Correctness concerned that we might hurt their feelings.  

Instead, we give up another little piece of our freedom and privacy.  Oh, the joys of political correctness.

Iran Continues To Call The West's Bluff

Iran proclaims new success in uranium enrichment

This has been going on for years. 

Step One:  Iran makes advancements in the race to a nuclear weapon.

Step Two:  The West threatens to impose "tough sanctions" unless Iran stops trying to get "the bomb"

Step Three:  Repeat Steps One and Two

Iran knows the west is a toothless tiger.  We simply do not have the leaders who have a spine anymore.

Iran is having huge protests in their country opposed to the current regime.  Do we support them?  No.  We let Iran crush the protests and execute the leaders of the protests without a word.

Unless the people of Iran can topple the islamic nutjobs on their own, we can look forward to two things.

One:  Iran will get "the bomb".

Two: Iran, or one of its many subgroups of islamic terrorists, WILL use that bomb.

Why Does The World Tolerate The Cult Of Islam?

I have asked this question before. 

If you look at the headlines in the paper almost any day you will see terror and destruction being caused in the name of Islam.  Imams preach hate daily and urge violence against us non-believers.  You will see muslims who have moved into formerly free countries demanding the host country to accommodate their religious practices, at the expense of the host country, of course.  Throughout the world they threaten violence on a daily basis and then scream racism if anyone calls them on it.  Its treatment of women is beyond disgusting.  (Yet our own feminists say nothing.)

Why does the world put up with the terror, death and destruction perpetrated on us in the name of islam?  We are like the family of a drug addict that commits horrible acts yet the family cannot bring itself to throw the bum out.  The family keeps deluding itself that the drug addict is really a good person at heart and won't do anything bad again.

We do the same thing with islam.  Over the past 30+ years islam, and its adherents, has been the direct cause of almost all international terror.  Yet after every massacre or act of terror the first thing the non-islamic world does is say "Islam is a religion of peace!" or "This is the act of some deluded maniacs."  (I notice the islamic world is always silent on these events.  So much for "moderate" muslims.)

Except for a brief period after 9/11, we never made them pay a price for their actions.  That is why islam persists in being a plague upon the planet.

As long as we enable islam, it will continue to wage a holy war on non-islamic people.  That is what Islam demands.

When the SHTF, and it will,I hope the politically-correct liberals are the first to feel the consequences of their enabling actions.  I will have NO sympathy for them.

What Is Iran Up To?

I have seen this news piece, in various forms, in several places:

Iran anniversary 'punch' will stun West: Khamenei

In it, their "supreme leader", whatever the heck that is, said this:

Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution. 

"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel."

Odds are it will just be something like a "powerful" speech condemning the Great Satan, or maybe they will unveil a new missile.  Still, they are a bunch of loony tunes, so you never know.

I have also read elsewhere that the U.S. has quietly moved a lot more patriot missiles and naval assets into the area.

Things could get interesting.

Geert Wilders Speaks For All Who Cherish Freedom

Geert Wilders is a dutch politician on trial in Holland.  What has he done?  He has openly spoken about the dangers of Islam and the teachings of the Koran.  That is all he has done.  Here are some of the charges:

*Group insult of Muslims,
*Incitement to hatred and discrimination against Muslims because of their religion, and
*Incitement to hatred and discrimination against non-Western foreigners and/or Moroccans because of their race.

He has never called for violence against Muslims, ever.  Anyway, they don't have Freedom Of Speech in their Constitution.  THANK OUR FOUNDING FATHERS THAT WE DO!!!

At the opening of his trial he made some opening remarks that were simply fantastic, and apply to everyone in this world.  Here is some of a translation I grabbed from Atlas Shruggs:

 Mister Speaker, judges of the court,

I would like to make use of my right to speak for a few minutes.

Freedom is the most precious of all our attainments and the most vulnerable. People have devoted their lives to it and given their lives for it. Our freedom in this country is the outcome of centuries. It is the consequence of a history that knows no equal and has brought us to where we are now.

I believe with all my heart and soul that the freedom in the Netherlands is threatened. That what our heritage is, what generations could only dream about, that this freedom is no longer a given, no longer self-evident.

Lady Justice wears a blindfold, but she has splendid hearing. I hope that she hears the following sentences, loud and clear:

 It is not only a right, but also the duty of free people to speak against every ideology that threatens freedom. Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States was right: The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

I hope that the freedom of speech shall triumph in this trial.

Well said, Mr. Wilders.  Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs is right when she writes "he fights for all of us".

A Golden Opportunity In Iran

There are massive protests in Iran against the current nut-job in charge.

Iran Kills 5 Protesters in Fierce Clashes in Tehran, Witnesses Say

"Iranian security forces fired on stone-throwing protesters in the center of the capital Sunday in one of the bloodiest confrontations in months, opposition Web sites and witnesses said. At least five people were killed."

"Opposition leaders have used holidays and other symbolic days in recent months to stage anti-government rallies.Iran is under pressure both from its domestic opposition within the country and from the United States and its European allies, which are pushing Iran to suspend key parts of its nuclear program.

Foreign Minister Carl Bildt of Sweden, which holds the rotating presidency of the European Union, expressed concern about the "increased repression" in Iran.

"A regime secure in its own legitimacy has no reason to fear individuals' rights to express their opinions freely and peacefully," he wrote on his blog Sunday."

I hope the U.S. Government is doing everything it can to assist the opposition, but I doubt it.  This could be a very nice way to get rid of the threat of a nuclear Iran.

Of course, not a word from Obama.  He is on vacation in Hawaii, you know.

Does Something Wicked This Way Come?

This failed attempt to destroy a plane and kills hundreds of people has opened a can of worms in intelligence circles, it seems.  I was reading a post over at The Belmont Club entitled "Storm Petrels".  (Interesting title.  The storm petrel is a small sea bird that flies in the face of storms.  I had to look that up.)  Anyway, the post headed in the direction of the idea that "people in the know" might think there is some pretty bad event in the planning by the "religion of peace".

"Byron York recently wrote that President Obama has responded to the NWA incident differently from the Hasan case at Fort Hood. For one, the President did not hesitate to call the aerial attack terrorism,.......The obvious working theory to cover this narrative is that there’s a worry among some Republicans that something big is in the works and the President is either sitting on it because he doesn’t want to tip his hand to the enemy, panic the public or — if you’re a conspiracy theorist — let on that the intelligence apparatus is in a shambles. It may in fact be a combination of all three."

What sort of attack?

"Only a week ago British authorities warned that a Mumbai-style attack was coming to London. Hoekstra’s warning that al-Qaeda may be seeking access “to other environments where they can do significant damage” was foreshadowed in this Online Times report:

Scotland Yard has warned businesses in London to expect a Mumbai-style attack on the capital.

 In a briefing in the City of London 12 days ago, a senior detective from SO15, the Metropolitan police counter-terrorism command, said: “Mumbai is coming to London.”

 The detective said companies should anticipate a shooting and hostage-taking raid “involving a small number of gunmen with handguns and improvised explosive devices”.The warning — the bluntest issued by police — has underlined an assessment that a terrorist cell may be preparing an attack on London early next year. "Most of the casualties in a Mumbai style attack will be inflicted in the first half hour, before an effective police response can be mounted. The British were worried about the time it would take for the SAS to rush from their barracks to save an unarmed British public. Parts of the United States, especially areas designated “gun free zones” might be as vulnerable as London."

(By the way, I am against the "gun-free zones" concept.  It means open season for any "crazy person" who does have a gun.)

If it can happen in London, it can happen in NY or LA, etc.

Stay alert.  One person CAN make a difference.  Just look at that Dutchman on the recent NWA flight as an example.
