Muslim Attempted Bomber Not "Reflective" of Particular Religion?

This is beyond idiocy.  You probably are aware that a U.S. muslim was arrested for plotting to blow up the Pentagon and Capitol.

Federal agents charge Ashland man with targeting Pentagon, Capitol with aerial explosives

"Federal authorities today arrested and charged a 26-year-old Ashland man with plotting to damage the Pentagon and US Capitol with a remote-controlled aircraft filled with C-4 plastic explosives."

Good so far, though the article fails to mention the guy is muslim.  Anyway, the real idiocy is here:

She [US Attorney Carmen Ortiz] added, “I want the public to understand that Mr. Ferdaus’ conduct, as alleged in the complaint, is not reflective of a particular culture, community or religion."

Really?  Really!!!?  You have got to be kidding.  Of course it is.  It is highly reflective of the muslim community, you politically correct twit!

The public understands very well, Ms. Ortiz.  They know, even though you pretend it isn't so, that muslims are the cause of virtually all the terrorist activities today.

This is really sad that we cannot even name the enemy.  Political correctness will get more Americans killed in the next few years. 

9/11 - Stop Tip-Toeing Around The Problem

With the tenth anniversary of 9/11 coming up tomorrow I see the news reports of possible threats to NYC and D.C.  Rarely in these reports to I see the word Islam or Muslim.

Thanks to the cancer of political correctness we dare not speak about the real problem.  That would be Islam and the people who claim it as their "religion".  The dust hadn't settled on 9/11 and we had Bush calling Islam the Religion Of Peace.  Pathetic leaders all over the country were warning people not to blame muslims.  Idiocy.

Ten years on and we are still worried about hurting the feeling of the monsters that created the hijackers.

All the hundreds of billions spent on security and wars over the past ten years has been because of Islam.  Don't like the security theater at the airport?  Thank Islam.  Don't like the loss of some liberties?  Thank Islam.

Muslims around the world, who danced in the streets after 9/11, have been kept from any sort of responsibility for what happened on 9/11 and afterwards, in London, Bali, and hundreds of other places all over the world.  It has cost them nothing.

Unless the non-muslim world acknowledges who is to blame and makes muslims feel the price for attacks by muslims anywhere, we will be having these threats on the twentieth anniversary of 9/11.

 

The Main Reason For All Our Troubles

What is the main reason for all the troubles we face in the USA, and what citizens all over the world face?

GOVERNMENT!

I don't care what sort of government you have, communist, socialist, crony-capitalism(USA), whatever.  Virtually all problems can be traced to the impact of government once it goes beyond the very minimal duties required of it.  Even our Constitutional system, which was as close to as perfect a system as the world have ever seen, was almost immediately under attack by the very people who wrote it.

Government does one thing - control.  Under its control it forces private citizens to hand over money or assets to a central authority at the point of a gun, federal state and local.  The central authority then spends this wealth as it sees fit.  Over time the central authority grows and grows.  It never willingly shrinks.  After it gets the money it goes on to rules and regulations. 

As government takes more control of the economy things deteriorate.  Government produces nothing, it only consumes.  It is a dead weight, a drag on the economy.

In the USA we started off with a relatively "clean slate" after much sacrifice.  We have lost freedoms ever since.  Now we are at the point where government is so massive and so powerful that the individual is lost.  Don't believe me?  Today, as you go through you day, pay attention to all the rules and regulations you have to comply with, how much you pay in taxes on everything you buy and any money you make.  Then tell me you are free.

Damn, depressing post.  But all of it true.

Black Mobs - P.C.

I have been reading for several months now about a very disturbing trend.  I am referring to the almost daily news of mobs of young blacks, both male and female, attacking whites, asians, hispanics, other blacks, as well as flash mobs robbing stores. 

Here is the latest - Flynn calls looting, beatings in Riverwest barbaric

"Perry was among several who were injured by a mob they said beat and robbed them and threw full beer bottles while making racial taunts. The injured people were white; the attackers were African-American, witnesses said.

Store video of the BP station at E. North Ave. and N. Humboldt Blvd. shows the business being ransacked. A clerk at BP confirmed to the Journal Sentinel that he was busy waiting on customers when one or two people held the door open to let others rush in and steal snacks and candy."

Burger King, McDonald's, convenience store flask mobs, etc.  Every one I have read about has been gangs of young blacks. 

I would ask what the hell is going on in the black community, but I know the answer.  It is the culmination of 50 years of liberal policies which have treated blacks as inferior, idiots incapable of being successful, independent, productive citizens.  Liberal policies have destroyed the black family.  Single moms with kids by multiple fathers let their kids run wild.  There is almost no strong parental control, and virtually no good male role models.  This is the natural result.

I do NOT believe the black race is inferior to any other race.  We are all the same under the skin as far a biology goes.  I do believe some cultures are inferior to others, so I guess I'm more of a bigot in regard to cultures. 

When I interact with an individual of any race I see an person who deserves to be treated with respect and dignity unless they prove otherwise.

I expect more of these mobs to appear throughout the country.  It is not politically correct to mention when blacks do bad things so nothing will be done.  When you won't discuss what is going on in front of your eyes for fear of political correctness, nothing CAN be done.

So, for now, at the risk of being slammed as a racist, I tell my family that if they see a group of young blacks to quickly, QUICKLY, get the hell out of there.  If groups of any other "color" start these flash mobs I will add that group to the list, as well.

My family's safety will not be trumped by being politically correct.

War - West vs. Islam

My belief is that the West and Islam are headed for an all out war at some point in the future.  We are already in the initial skirmishes.  The two philosophies of life cannot co-exist.  If islam was still confined to a few backward hellholes in the Middle East that would be fine.  But the decay in the Western world, along with oil money, has allowed islam to expand rapidly, like a virus in a weakened body. 

What can we expect going forward?

I've seen the following progression of islam in varioius countries discussed before.  The latest is in an American Thinker article entitled The Five Stages of Islam by Richard Butrick.  Here is the basic list from that piece:

Stage 1. Establish a Beachhead - <2% muslim population

Muslims are conciliatory, deferential but request harmless special treatment (foot bath facilities, removal/elimination of that which is offensive to delicate Muslim sensibilities - like walking dogs near Mosques).

Stage 2. Establish Outposts - Population density 2% - 5%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs....

Stage 3. Establish Sectional Control of Major Cities - Population density 5% - 10%

First comes the demand for halal food in supermarkets, and the blocking of streets for prayers; then comes the demand for self rule (within their ghettos) under Sharia.  When Muslims approach 10% of the population the demands turn to lawlessness........

Stage 4. Establish Regional Control - Population density 20%  -  50%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues......

Stage 5. Total Control, Brutal Suppression, and Dhimmitude - Population density >  50%.

Unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and jizya, the tax placed on infidels.....

Don't believe it?  Just read the news of events around the world.  Let the facts speak for themselves.  From my reading it would appear Detroit is in the 10% stage.

This is a war that will be fought.  The muslims are winning at the moment because most in the West refuse to even discuss it.  The liberal "elite" is playing the part, as usual, of the "useful idiot".  Parts of Europe are already "no-go" zones under complete Sharia law.

You can refuse to acknowledge this war, refuse to even allow discussion of it, but that won't stop it.

Best antidote?  A strong belief in the Western way of life; freedom, liberty, personal responsibility, rugged individualism, individual rights.  Refuse to kowtow to ANY philosophy that teaches anything different.  That is the cure, and it will work if enough people try it.

 

An Example Of How Insane This Country Has Become

School Expels Standout High School Student for Lunchbox Mix-Up

In a nutshell, an excellent student brought her father's lunchbox to school by mistake.  (Her lunchbox is identical.)  During a search for drugs in the school they found a paring knife in the lunchbox that her father uses to cut up apples he eats for lunch.  Now this upstanding 3.5 GPA student athlete is suspended for the rest of the year.  Not even allowed to step foot on campus.

"The teen was initially given a 10-day suspension, then received notice that she was suspended the rest of the school year."

So, the school administration even had time to think about it and learn the circumstances before INCREASING the penalty.

In a sane world this would not even be an issue.  In a sane world the principal would have called the young girl into his office told the girl about the knife.  The girl would have said "sorry, I took the my dad's lunch box".  The principal would have said no problem, come get the knife at the end of school and take it home.  End of story.

But we do not live in a sane world. In this world a young girl's future is now clouded with doubt.  She now has a "record".  I hope the fact this has gone national is enough to embarrass the local idiots (from my own state!) into completely expunging this from the girl's record.

Throughout my entire high school time I always had a swiss army knife in my back pocket.  I still do today, 30+ years later.  So did everyone else.  Not for "fighting", but to cut up fruit, open packages, screw in a loose screw, whatever.  It is an extremely useful tool.  Now?  It would be instant academic "death".

The principal of this school should be fired as should the superintendent for sheer stupidity.  But they won't be.

Little events like this multiplied a million times indicate to me this country is beyond hope.  We have become too stupid to continue to exist.  The idiots are in firm control.  Don't believe me?  Click on ANY major news source and read the headlines for the day.  Then try and tell me I'm wrong.

 

 

Just How Much Freedom Are You WIlling To Give Up?

When you sit back and think about the last 50 or 100 years in the United States, I would like you to think about just how free you are compared to way back then.  To me it appears bit by bit we have ceded our freedoms to the various levels of government, but mostly to the federal government. 

Each time the federal government grabbed a little bit of freedom we were told it was due to some crisis, or for our own good.  Some of us complained a little but we had lives to lead so we shrugged and continued trying to provide for our families.  Besides, it was only a little bit of freedom, and the government said it was important.

Now, in the past few years, we have seen an enormous power grab by the federal government in ALL areas of our lives.  With the election of the ONE, with democrat house and senate, it was like all pretenses were withdrawn and the collectivists came out in force.  The ObamaCare bill was their high point.  (We all lost a lot of freedom with that monstrosity.)

With the latest election we showed as a people that enough of us didn't like this powergrab.  We will see what happens.

I have written many times that the government never voluntarily shrinks, it always grows.  We'll see if this time the republicans can do something right and shrink this monster.

 

Why I Say "All that Is Necessary"

OK.  From time to time I try and remind myself of why I write this small blog.  Here is the quote that underlies it all:

What is my definition of evil?  At the moment there are a lot of things that are evil in this world, but the "evil of the moment" here in the USA is the growth of collectivism under Obama and the liberals in power throughout the country.  Why is this evil?  Well, collectivism, of which socialism is the start, believes in the "collective" rather than the individual.  The individual exists to serve the state and the state feels free to enact whatever laws are necessary to FORCE the individual to do so.  Freedom, liberty, personal responsibility do not exist under collectivism.  The individual is robbed of his natural rights.  This is evil.

Collectivism has been the normal status of civilization throughout history.  The Founding Fathers knew this and fought a bloody war to bring about a new type of country, based on the individual, with drastically limited government.  This was pretty much unknown in human history.  The result was the growth of the richest, most powerful nation this world has ever seen.

But the forces of collectivism never sleep.  Early in the 1900's collectivism began its slow march in the USA.  It made huge leaps under Roosevelt and Johnson.  But it is relentless.  Under Obama, with Pelosi and Reid, it is making another huge leap.

Each time it would advance and some people would would rise up and say "no!".  However, collectivism never gave up all it accomplished, so each decade saw us becoming more and more collectivist.  Now we are at the point where there may be no stopping it.

That is why good men and women can no longer "do nothing".  We must fight the forces of collectivism now.  We must not just stall it, we must turn it back and crush it.

For those thinking, what can I do?  For starters, stop being quiet about your belief in freedom, liberty and individualism.  There are more of us out there than you think.  And don't worry if you think it is not enough.  Edmund Burke has another quote about that:

"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little."

My blog may be little, but maybe, just maybe, someone might read something I write and join the fight.
