Palin Drives Liberals And Country Club Republicans Insane

What is it about Sarah Palin that drives the left and RINOs absolutely insane.  The left is terrified of her and uses EVERY opportunity to try and demean and destroy her.  I can understand that.  I mean, she is a threat to their way of life.  A life of failure, servitude and misery.  But the Republican establishment does the same thing!  For instance, today, or yesterday, I forget, there is a pure hatchet job of a book review of her new book in the Wall Street Journal.  The Wall Street Journal!  (No, I won't dignify it by linking to it.)

Palin probably is the bet representative of what the Republicans claim to represent in decades.  Yet these same Republicans want to destroy her.  I think Palin shows a person's true colors.  If you like her you are probably a true conservative, mostly.  (Of course I disagree with her on s few things. duh.)  If you despise her you are a statist, even if you call yourself a Republican.

I'll tell you why these statists, democrat and republican, hate her.  She is not "one of them".  She is an independent person, not a part of the Beltway Club.  She might upset their gravy train.  She might return power to the actual people.  They cannot allow that.

The Republican establishment better be very careful.  If Palin wants to she could start an independent movement or party that would strip off dang near every conservative out there.  I know I would join her.

I like Sarah Palin.  I hope she runs for President in 2012 so I can vote for some good change.  She just endorsed David Hoffman in a congressional race in NY.  Hoffman is running against a democrat and a so-called republican.  The republican, endorsed by all the republican establishment, is a flaming liberal who is even to the left of the democrat in the race.

Hoffman is the conservative who believes in smaller, constitutional government.

I really hope he wins.  It will be a big loss for the republicans in charge of the party and the RINOs they support.  And a huge boost to Sarah Palin's influence in the party.

Should We Play Dirty, Like The DemocratsDo?

Atlas Shrugs has an interesting post today.  The title is "CNN Tells, Sells More Lies About Palin -- it's Time to Expose the truth about Obama".  It is about how the leftists and the mainstream media, though I repeat myself, know no bounds when it comes to their attack on anyone who declares for America, Freedom and Liberty.  There is simply no level to which they will not sink.  Atlas thinks it is time to take off our gloves, too.

My view is, you cannot get into the boxing ring and expect to stick to the Marquis of Queensbury rules if you are going up against a ruthless street fighter.  You may feel all self-righteous, but you WILL LOSE.

I think we should take off the gloves and fight like our lives are on the line, because they are!

John Hawkins Gets To The Heart Of The Criticism On Palin

John Hawkins, of Right Wing News, has a Pajamas Media piece that really gets to the heart of the criticism of Sarah Palin by the Left AND the Right.  It is entitled "Why Sarah Palin Fans Feel Betrayed".  It is an excellent commentary.  I love the opening:

"To be conservative is to be betrayed on a regular basis. You send your kids to a school that tries to slyly indoctrinate them into liberalism, you come home to watch an “unbiased” news show that covers almost every story differently based on whether a Republican or Democrat is involved, and then you try to unwind by watching TV shows that take guarded shots at the values you cherish."

Conservatives ARE betrayed on a regular basis. 

"Then along came Sarah Palin, whom most conservatives viewed as the lone bright spot of the 2008 campaign. Here’s a woman that many conservatives identify with not only because they believe she really shares their values, but because she is genuinely what so many other politicians pretend to be. She’s a person who got where she is based on merit and she found success without the advantage of being born in the right family, being wealthy, or being given a break because she went to an Ivy League school."

He IS really getting to the heart of the matter!

"Given the excitement Sarah Palin has generated it isn’t a surprise that liberals hate her......Liberals correctly identified Sarah Palin as the biggest danger to them in the entire Republican Party and they’re doing everything they can to eliminate that threat.

But why would the right have it in for Palin? ..... An unspoken assumption was made by many conservatives: Palin is like me and the real problem that Palin’s enemies on the right have with her is that they’re snobs and they don’t accept common people like me in their leadership.

There’s only one Sarah Palin and there’s not another soul on the national stage who can even come close to filling her high heels. At a time when the Republican Party has lost so many seats in Congress that it’s teetering on the brink of irrelevancy, Palin’s detractors on the right should ask themselves how much sense it makes to help the liberal media try to tear down the biggest star in the conservative movement."

I have no doubt in the ability of the current Republican leadership to completely screw this up.  They will continue to do their famous "can't we all just get along" style with the Democrats, and, therefore, continue their slide into irrelevance.

One Of The Reasons I Like Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin has been in the news lately.  What a surprise, right?  I know she is quitting as Governor.  (And, yes, I consider it quitting, no matter what her reasons, even if they are great reasons.)  The thing is, I still like her and would vote for her, for President, in a heartbeat.

You want to know one of the reasons?  It has nothing to do with her positions on matters, most of which I agree with anyway.

Nope.  One reason why I really like her is that the liberals and "country club" republicans HATE her.  They hate her with a passion that is amazing to watch.  Even after her ticket lost, the liberals and country-clubbers never let up.  They are still after her and her entire family as if the election was still going on.

They must really be afraid of her for some reason.  They makes me like her a lot more.  You see, I really dislike what these liberals and country-clubbers stand for.  Now an "outsider" is threatening them and their ivory towers.  I hope Sarah Palin tumbles those ivory towers to the ground.

Governor Palin and the Blue Bloods

First off, I think Governor Sarah Palin is fantastic.  From my viewpoint picking Palin is the only thing McCain has done right in this campaign.  I also love the fact it has driven the liberals/MSM and so-called "feminists" absolutely insane.  That alone was worth it.

I can understand the liberal hate.  Governor Palin stands for everything they despise.  She is a threat to all they believe.  The mainstream media has reached new levels of partisanship that has done away with the myth they are even close to impartial journalists.  Is there a ANYONE out there that would want their family to undergo the scrutiny that the Palin family has endured?  The feminists?  Well, they are just plain idiots.  Here is a women who truly has done it all, and they hate her for it.

But she is also under attack by the beltway/blue blood republicans.  They are as bad as the liberals, maybe worse.

These "elite" republican pundits actually think Palin is now a negative for McCain.  Are they NUTS?!?!  I think they are completely out of touch with the majority of the conservative/libertarian crowd.  From my reading and discussions, Sarah Palin is the only thing keeping McCain's campaign alive at the moment.  I think Sarah Palin is "one of us".  She has not, yet, been infected with whatever that disease is that people get in Washington, D.C.  The insulated elite will never get it.

What to learn from all this?  Well, maybe the idea that there are still Americans with the spirit that made us a great country.  You won't find them in D.C. or in university faculties, or think tanks.  You will find them in Alaska, in North Carolina, in Wyoming, in Kentucky.  You will find them working their tails off for their families in obscurity.  We need to get these people in power and clean out the scum from the Washington swamp.
